Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania,
Nick Barilla has made a name for himself on a local and national level in the world of online music. His first release in 2014, 'Take a Chance' received commercial song placement on the 'Friday Night Rocks' segment with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
In 2019, he won the 'Pittsburgh City Paper Battle of the Bands' competition and in 2021 was named 'Best Pop Performer in the city of Pittsburgh' in the 'Best of Pittsburgh' Readers Poll by the Pittsburgh City Paper.
He has also released two additional studio albums (Learning To Live, Moments) and penned the song 'Daughter' (Daniel Blake Production) which was chosen as a finalist to be featured on a major television network (NBC) in 2019.
He has shared the stage with a list of artists that include: Howie Day, Jon Mclaughlin, Aaron Carter, Lee Dewyze, Kris Allen, Victory Boyd, Todd Carey, Maddie Poppe, Kate Vogele, and more.
Some notable venues Barilla has performed at include: World Cafe Live, 20 Front Street, Seven Steps Up, Hard Rock Cafe Pittsburgh, Music Box Supper Club, Chicago City Winery, Mr. Smalls Theatre, Evanston SPACE, and more.
